Without a feebate (top graphs), no Revolutionary+ vehicles are adopted since their price plus their three-year fuel savings would exceed that of incrementally more efficient "evolutionary" vehicles. With a feebate (bottom graphs), Revolutionary+ vehicles become cost competitive with evolutionary ones, causing consumers to adopt the more efficient vehicle given their relative cost and enhanced fuel savings.
