Brendan joined RMI in August 2013 after working in both academic and private industry libraries for more than 10 years. At RMI Brendan is responsible for maintaining the digital library as well as assisting with the in-depth research conducted by consultants. Brendan is also responsible for developing the collection of both physical and digital collections related to energy.

Background

Brendan’s experience, ranges from corporate and federal to academic settings have given him a variety of experience. As the Information Specialist at Gnarus Environmental Services (GES), Brendan started the information department by building a digital and physical collection. During his tenure he worked on a large multi-billion dollar litigation project that required working collaboratively with the scientists, engineers, economists and other consultants. Additional services provided to analysts included intranet development, taxonomy expansion, topic tracking and alerts on state and federal regulations, guidance and policies, and document retrieval.
