Kate Mark is Executive Assistant to MDs Hervé Touati, Jerry Weiland, and a few Principals at RMI. She enjoys being the supportive bridge that connects people, programs, and processes.
Kate joined RMI in August 2016 after managing her own remote business support and administration consultancy for 3 years -- Delegate to Kate, LLC. This endeavor provided endless opportunities to learn new technology skills and hone her research, business development, and event coordination efforts. Tasks ran the gamut from writing a research report on business opportunities in Rwanda to managing event ticket and lodging sales for Rocky Mountain-area jazz concerts.
Previously, Kate had more than a decade of varied project coordination, event planning, and administration roles in large corporations and small non-profits. Fun career highlights include: being thanked by the Dalai Lama for event support at the Mind and Life Institute; implementing and managing an employee reward & recognition program at Clipper Windpower; demonstrating to VIPs a language generation application powered by artificial intelligence at Hecht-Nielsen Neurocomputing Corporation; and co-authoring a book chapter titled 'The Mechanism of Thought' together with an R&D team at FICO.
