Dr. Li Ting is a Principal & Chief Representative of China at Rocky Mountain Institute. She brings over 15 years of experience in sustainable development working on environmental treaties negotiations with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Treaty & Law Department, and was formerly a senior negotiator in the United Nations climate talks.
Dr. Li is a registered expert for the Asian Development Bank and World Bank. She is involved in policy making process of China on low carbon development, and participated the research programs on low-carbon development policy, mechanisms and international regime.
Dr. Li earned a Master's degree in Law at Remin University of China, a Ph.D in Environmental Economics from China Academy of Science and also holds an M.A. from Tufts University.
