The 2012 EV City Casebook Is Here!
Check out the preview slideshow, and then download the casebook below and learn how your city--whether motivated by job creation, consumer demand, improved mobility, or benefits toair quality and the environment—can drive EV deployment using global best practices.
The EV City Casebook details the policies, incentive programs, and customer behaviors of 16 pioneering cities and regions across 9 countries that have managed to capture 30 percent of the global EV market to date--and know what's working so far including the Project Get Ready partner regions of New York, Los Angeles, Portland, and the Raleigh Research Triangle.
The Casebook is a product of The Global Electric Vehicle Insight Exchange (EVX), a knowledge-sharing consortium formed with RMI's Project Get Ready, The Clean Energy Ministerial Electric Vehicles Initiative (EVI), Task 18 of IEA’s Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Implementing Agreement, and the University of California, Davis.
Helping America Get Prepared
Project Get Ready aims to accelerate the electric vehicle industry by fostering ecosystems in which the technology can most succeed. To accomplish this goal, Project Get Ready works with cities and industry leaders to develop and disseminate best practices for electric vehicle integration and adoption. By creating a network of over 25 cities and 40 strategic partners, this work seeks to identify challenges and opportunities for the seamless transition to vehicle electrification.
