OurEnergyPolicy.org
The goal of OurEnergyPolicy.org is to provide expert input into the development of U.S. energy policy through a broad-based, non-partisan, substantive dialogue that can serve as a resource to policy makers, the media, and the American people.
Using specially-developed software, our website will foster a substantive online dialogue on key energy issues. The goal is to have such engagement become a resource for policy makers tackling these issues; the broad-based, expert discussion will take place in the sunlight of the Internet, leading to a more open government process, and creating even greater incentives for policy makers to act.
More than 100 knowledgeable and prominent contributors from various U.S. energy sectors have already signed up to participate. On any given day, journalists and decision makers reading OurEnergyPolicy.org can watch a real-time dialogue among these experts, a dialogue that previously occurred – if at all – in the dark. To register as a participant, please contact Rsalem@ourenergypolicy.org.
OnGoingTransportation
A siren call for a radical approach for the future of American transportation, OnGoingTransportation is calling for the best and brightest to develop a vision and blueprint for America’s next 50 years of transportation needs.
The vision should inspire American citizens and businesses with compellingly designed, environmentally and economically sustainable transportation options that are part of a totally integrated national system. The blueprint will seek to inform sound long-term policy and legislation, which can be trusted to create new opportunities for American business and industry to create new jobs and lead the world in transportation solutions.
