Sam Ramirez is an associate at RMI, working in the electricity practice. Sam joined RMI in July 2014.
From 2013-2014 Sam was an Energy Efficiency Process Developer and then an Energy Analyst at SolarCity in San Mateo California. While on the efficiency team, Sam helped scale SolarCity’s efficiency business and then as an Energy Analyst he kept residential and commercial solar arrays operating optimally. Prior to his work at SolarCity, Sam built a diverse array of renewable energy industry experience that includes defossilizing the steel industry as a 2009 M.A.P. Fellow at RMI, high altitude wind energy, solar energy services, entrepreneurially focused sustainable energy deployment, and teaching energy and sustainability concepts to undergraduate students at Stanford University.
