Kitty Bu is the communications director of the China program at Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI). Prior to joining RMI, Kitty was a documentary producer/film maker and a two time Asian Television Awards and New York TV and Film Festival winner. Kitty has extensive experience in media, communications, and consultancy. She has also worked as a television news producer and on-camera news presenter for Reuters for six years in Asia Pacific. Her reporting covered a wide range of topics, from policy and economics to international relations and natural disasters.
Kitty also worked as a consultant at Brunswick consultancy, where she was involved in financial communications for a number of high profile merger and acquisition deals outside China.
