Tian is an associate in RMI’s power team in China. Tian works on BRC China, helping corporate buyers procure renewable energy in China and conducting research on the relevant policy framework and power market reforms.

BACKGROUND

Prior to joining RMI, Tian was a consultant during graduate school at EnerNOC (a Boston-based global demand-response company) where he helped support a comprehensive strategy to assess its China opportunities. In 2016, Tian served as an EDF Climate Corps fellow and helped IKEA China design a phase-out of coal in its supply chains.
