Suzanne (Suzy) Schadel

Suzy is a senior associate within the Climate Intelligence Program’s Commodity Markets Transformation Initiative. Her work focuses on state and federal policy initiatives and differentiated markets that reduce global methane emissions via supply chain emissions accounting, improving emissions inventories with measurement data, fostering data transparency, and identifying financial sector levers.

Background

Prior to RMI, Suzy was an engineering project manager at GHD for domestic and international, industrial and municipal, water (storm, drinking, wastewater, reuse) and environmental impact assessment projects. She also served as program coordinator for GHD’s North and South American Sustainability & Resiliency Program. Previously, she was a research analyst at AidData, developing novel methodologies to determine city-level costs for urban areas to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 11. She has also worked on Shell’s Environmental & Regulatory team, covering Permian and Appalachian assets.
